The Non-Surgical Facelift (Fractional 1540)
Experience the ultimate flawless finish with the Fractional 1540, our newest resurfacing laser. This is the latest technology for diminishing acne scars, pitted skin, pigmentation disorders, deep wrinkles, crow's feet, superficial lines, melasma, and overal skin resurfacing.   This treatment is also safe enough to use around the eye area to tighten  loose skin and drastically smooth lines and crow's feet.  Unlike it's  closest competitor, the Fraxel, our Fractional 1540 does not require a blue dye  numbing agent and patients remain very comfortable throughout the treatment. There is absolutely no down time immediately following treatment, so patients are free to return to daily activities after treatment.

PhotoFacial
This non-invasive method reduces redness within the capillary walls. Beneficial for chronic Rosacea patients, reducing sun damage (solar keratosis) and improving protein (collagen) synthesis.

Fractional IR Skin Tightening
Skin tightening is  laser based treatment designed to stimulate collagen production , resullting in tighter skin, a reduction on creepiness, and an overall smoothing of the skin's appearance. Treatment areas include, but are not limited to, the face and neck, stomach, chest, arms, thighs, knees, buttocks, and hands.

Beyond Colour uses the latest technology to achieve seamless skin tightening results.  Pther skin tightening treatments, such as Titan and Thermage, only use one large beam to deliver infrared light into the skin.  This limites the amount of heat that can be delivered into the skin without burning it, therebt decreasing the skin tightening results.  Our Palomar Lux IR uses  the "fractional" approach by delivering an array of small beams.  Each beam creates a heated column in the dermis, which is surrounded by an unaffected area. The unaffected tissue stimulates quicker collagen remodeling, and faster healing without an increase in the risk of burns.

To achieve optimal results, most skin tightening patients require between 3 - 6 treatments.  Treatments are typically administered every three weeks.

Pulsed-Light Hair Removal
Pulsed-light hair removal is a highly effective, non-invasive approach to permanent hair reduction with no downtime.  This system works by emitting pulses of intense lamp-light into the hair follicles.  The light is absorbed by the pigment in the follicles and converted to heat.  The heat then loosens the hair and disables the cells responsible for new hair growth.  Pulsed-light systems and lasers are very similar and remove hair in basically the same way.  However, our pulsed-light system uses a new technology that removes hair up to ten times faster than lasers.  As a result, pulsed light treatments can fit even the busiest person’s schedule. 

The usual recommendation for pulsed-light hair removal is 4 to 6 treatments.

Laser Leg Vein Treatments
Many people live with visible leg veins, which make them feel self conscious to wear skirts, short, and swimsuits. In the past, this problem could only be solved through painful procedures and surgery.  Recent technology allows for quick and painless resolution of leg veins by means of pulsed-light leg vein therapy.  During treatment, pulses of light are emitted into the visible vein area, heating the blood within the leg vein.  The heat of the blood affects the vessel lining, which causes the vessel to constrict and eventually fade from view.    The treatments are quick, with little to no discomfort, and no downtime is required afterward.

Pulsed-Light Acne Treatments
Acne is one of the most common skin problems, affecting not only teenagers, but also many adults.  Our pulsed-light system delivers concentrated light pulses that attack acne on two fronts:  it destroys acne bacteria for a quick clearance of current acne breakouts and it penetrates into the hyperactive sebaceous glands to slow down the production of  sebum, which can clog pores and cause future breakouts.  The result is a fast resolution of current acne breakouts and a long remission time between treatments, without the drying and irritation caused by topical acne treatments.

Pigmented Lesions
(Sunspots or Age Spots)
In the past, harsh treatments resulted in red, raw skin, with a long recovery time.  Fortunately, skin rejuvenation has advanced beyond the painful procedures of the past and requires absolutely no downtime.  Our pulsed-light photofacials offer comfortable and effective treatment for sun damage, sun spots, rosacea, and spider veins. Photofacials can be performed on the face as well as the chest, neck, back, arms and hands.  The treatments are quick, and you can return to work or other activities immediately afterward– looking and feeling fine!

Vascular Lesions
(Superficial blue, red or purple veins under the skin’s surface)
Commonly referred to as spider veins and rosacea, these skin imperfections are easily removed using our intense pulsed-light vein treatment.  Our system emits pulses of light into the skin.  The light is absorbed by the pigment in the blood found in visible vessels and converts it to heat.  The heat dissolves the cells that create the pigment and shrinks the vessels.  Visible vessels may disappear immediately after treatment or they may appear darker and then fully or partially fade within 10-14 days following treatment.  The treatments are quick and there is no downtime afterward.
